2022 Competition Videos
In 2022, EP went to Wesley Chapel, FL. The large ensemble performed “Sweet Dreams,” an updated 80s compilation about a young girl’s visit to a world of monsters. Silver Mini Ensembles (preliminary to juve level): one skating to the Broadway version of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” and the other skating to “It’s a Musical,” from the musical “Something Rotten.” EP’s Gold Mini Ensemble (intermediate and above) skated to “If I Dare” by Sara Barailles, with each skater dressed as a different inspiring woman from history: Cleopatra, Amelia Earhart, Sally Ride, Joan of Arc, Misty Copeland, Maude Malone, and Hedy Lamarr.
2021 Competition Videos
In 2021, National Showcase was hosted by our very own EPIC rink here in Fort Collins! The large ensemble skated a production of “The Little Mermaid.” They earned a 3rd place medal for an amazing performance! The senior mini this year was to the song “Six Wives” from Six: The Musical. The other minis were from SpongeBob SquarePants and from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
2019 Competition Videos
In 2019, 17 skaters went to Wenatchee, WA at the Town Toyota Center rink. The large ensemble performed “Pixar Nation,” a revue of Pixar music and characters. There were 3 mini ensembles: “Beauty School Dropout” from Grease, “The Addams” from the Broadway version of the TV show, and “It’s a Hard-Knock Life” from the musical Annie.
2018 Videos
The 2018 national competition was in Brighton, MI at the Kensington Valley Ice House rink. There, 18 skaters performed a large production, a medley from The Greatest Showman, and in 3 mini ensembles: Muses from Disney’s Hercules, “This is Wonderland” from the Broadway version of Alice in Wonderland, and Finding Nemo.
2017 Videos
In 2017, EPIC Productions first year, 22 skaters competed in Santa Rosa, CA at Snoopy’s Rink. They performed in a large ensemble, a medley of Hamilton songs, and 4 mini ensembles: songs from Muana, “Freak Fest” from Shrek! The Musical, Pixar’s Up, and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” from Disney’s Fantasia.
