The rink hosting the National Showcase competition has release a ton of useful information about the competition. This post has some of the highlights, but I definitely recommend you browse through what they have.

The competition will begin on Tuesday, August 2 (seems like no practice ice on Monday). They’re release the schedule by early July so we’ll be able to see the details.

There are 500 skaters at this competition, skating in 1,000 events!

Important Changes Since National Showcase 2021

CHAPERONE CREDENTIALS – No free All-Event Tickets or Chaperone Credentials will be provided. Competitors must indicate their chaperone’s name in their profile when registering on EntryEeze and then purchase an all-event ticket for the chaperone. Chaperone credentials will not be available at the door.

PROPS FOR INTERPRETIVE EVENTS – Props for interpretive events must fit into a carry-on luggage suitcase with a measurement of no more than 45 linear inches (length + height + width). Competitors whose container exceeds these dimensions will be provided a correctly sized box.

The Location

Do not go to the main entrance of the rink. The competition entrance is on the east side of the building facing the traffic circle.

Inside, there are lots of sheets of ice!

AdventHealth Center Ice has five ice surfaces. Most events take place on Rink D with some events on Rink C.

This looks like a great place for a competition!
